Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to Hardworking Machines (the “Website”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle any personal information we may collect when you use our Website.
2. No Cookies
Our Website does not use cookies to collect or store any personal information.
3. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect any information that can be connected to an individual. This means we do not gather names, addresses, email addresses, or any other personal data from our users, except as described in Section 4.
4. Newsletter
If you choose to sign up for our newsletter, we will collect your email address. This information will be used solely for the purpose of sending you our newsletter and updates about our services. We use SendGrid and Mailchimp to manage and send our newsletters. Both SendGrid and Mailchimp are third-party service providers that process your email address on our behalf. They are GDPR-compliant and take measures to protect your data. We will not share your email address with any other third parties. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the email.
We will retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your email address will be removed from our active mailing list. However, our email service provider (Mailchimp) retains unsubscribed email addresses on a suppression list, which exists solely to ensure we do not accidentally contact you again in the future. Addresses on this suppression list are not used for any other purpose.
If you would like your email address removed entirely, including from the suppression list, please contact us at info@hardworkingmachines.com and we will submit a deletion request to Mailchimp on your behalf.

5. Embedded Content from Third Parties
Our Website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.) from third-party websites such as YouTube. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party websites for more information on their data practices.
6. Analytics
We use Matomo for analytics purposes. Matomo is a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. Visitor IP addresses are anonymized before being stored — the last two octets (for IPv4) are removed — so no personally identifiable information is retained. All data collected is aggregated and used solely to improve the functionality and user experience of our Website. We do not send any analytics data to third-party services.
7. Your rights
If we process your personal data (such as your email address for our newsletter), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data, for example by unsubscribing from our newsletter.
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — you can object to our processing of your data.
- Right to data portability — you can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (such as newsletter sign-up), you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@hardworkingmachines.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se, or with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
We will retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your email address will be removed from our mailing list.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
